Sunday Morning, October 28, 2007,

This morning, we met with the saints from the Buxton Avenue Church of God. This is a small congregation with whom we used to fellowship many years ago, but because of reasons unknown, fellowship was broken. However, we are thankful to be free to go where the Spirit says go, say what the Spirit says say, and do what the Spirit says do.

We enjoyed being with the saints this morning. We were free in the Spirit. The saints from this congregation have graciously allowed us to use their chapel for the upcoming revival this week. They are eager to help us in any way that we need help.

Bro Lee brought a clear message regarding darkening the counsel of God. He used the Old Testament story of David being anointed as King as an illustration. He noted that while God had chosen David, his brothers and father did not recognize the divine calling that was placed on him. In this, they darkened the counsel of God by not being observant to God's plan. When we look at the human element, many times we fail to see the spiritual things of God.

May we ever strive to see things as God does.

1Cor 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
