Bro Dale Rude led
a group discussion about the Principles of Charity. His focus
was on 1 Cor 13:1-8, 13 and he discussed each scripture in
detail and showed the importance of having agape love working in
our lives. He pointed out that if we are doing any of the things
mentioned in the first few scriptures out of selfish motives or
for selfish purposes, we will profit nothing. He broke down each
characteristic of true agape love found in verses 5-7. There was
significant input from many of those in attendance. In the end,
he pointed out that if we will put into practice the principles
found in this chapter, they will not fail! They will bring forth
fruit. We were each challenged to look at ourselves. It is one
thing to have head knowledge or a good understand these things.
It is another thing to actually have them all working in our
lives, at all time. We must have more than just a theology. May
God help each of us the live out these principles. John 13:35 By
this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have
