Bro Dillow led a group discussion on the subject of “religion”. He used many verses to show that true religion is first pure, then positive and finally productive. Religion is pure because it is genuine and it comes from a pure heart. It is positive because it comes from God Himself and the message of salvation is a positive message, namely, Jesus Saves From Sin. Finally, those who have experienced true religion are productive, namely, they bear the fruit of the Spirit and they are having a positive impact on those with whom they interact.  

There was much discussion and edifying of one another as the saints are adapting to the open church environment. They are breaking free from the past traditions of the institutionalized church where the “preacher” does all the talking and the saints are silent spectators. We are learning that we all have something to share. It certainly makes for a much richer environment when we are all giving and receiving.  

Today was a good in the Lord. God is doing great things among His people and we look forward to the days ahead.
