Sunday Morning Evening Report, Apr 29, 2007

This evening, we continued with our Bible study of the book of Ephesians. Bro Dillow dealt with verses 3 through 6 of the 1st chapter.  He pointed out that we, as Christians, have been lifted up into heavenly places in Christ Jesus. This expression, “in Christ” is mentioned many times through the book of Ephesians and denotes our ownership and our position. We also had a discussion about the plan of salvation and how we were chosen and “predestinated”. This predestination was not an overriding of our free will, but rather the foreseeing of a plan for salvation for lost souls.    

There was much participation from the saints in this study and it made for a good time of sharing and edifying of one another. May God help us all to become more grounded and established in His Word.
