A Mighty Reformation Reformation (Def) - Re-form-ation; The act of forming anew. Rescuing from error and returning to a rightful course. Praise God! The days of reformation are not over! God is yet doing great things in our day and we are thrilled to be a small part of it. The truth of His Word is liberating people from traditions and erroneous teachings of men. Indeed, "purer light is coming fast". D. S Warner, a reformer greatly used by God in the late 1800s, believed that the characteristics of a true reformation were as follows: 1. The break-up of old relationships - Sadly, we have experienced the loss of close relationships in the past two years, not by our own choosing. 2. The drawing of new lines of fellowship - Thankfully, we have met many wonderful people, of various backgrounds, who are like minded and who rejoice in the same truths that God is revealing to us through His Word and His Spirit. 3. Exposure to persecution - Only God knows the false accusations, persecution, rumors and even lies that have been spread since we have taken our stand for these reformation truths. While "the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things" we are more determined than ever to be defenders of the faith once delivered to the saints.
There's a mighty reformation sweeping o're the land,
