| Report: Sept 10, 2006 Evening....
When first I started to seek the
Lord, I’m glad I counted the cost. I fully measured to
Jesus' Word, I’m glad I counted the cost. I paid the
price and obtained the prize, He saved my soul that was
lost! And now my treasures are in the sky, I’m glad I
counted the cost!
The saints and others gathered in
for the last service of the South Charleston Gospel
Outreach Meeting. The Spirit of God was so real in our
midst and there was much freedom in the Spirit. God’s
people testified and sang praises unto the Lord and gave
testimony of God’s goodness and of His great salvation.
There was much rejoicing and shouting among the people
of God as the Most High God poured His blessings out
over and over on this little gathering. There were
nearly 40 in attendance and everyone seemed to witness
to a peculiar anointing on the entire service.
Bro Dale Rude preached a very
powerful message on the parable of the Prodigal Son.
With the help of the Lord, he broke down every scripture
passage and brought the old, old story of the rebellious
son and the loving Father to life in a manner that
everyone present could personally relate to, both sinner
and saint. There was much rejoicing as God’s Word went
forth. It was a message that brought conviction upon the
sinners and encouragement to the saints.
At the end of the service, the
saints gathered in earnest united prayer and poured out
their hearts to God for mercy upon lost loved ones,
friend and neighbors, and for those in the local
community. Afterwards, there was an eruption of
spontaneous praise and the saints again broke out into
songs of praise. It was wonderful to be in the presence
of God! Thank God for all the was accomplished during
this meeting! We are expecting great things!
Please pray for divine direction as
we seek God’s face regarding His perfect will. There is
much happening all around us and we are looking to Him
for clear guidance as to what He would have us do next.
