This evening,
Bro Steve Wingate brought a message titled "I Will Build Again The
Ruins" (Acts 15:16).. He talked about various empires
and structures that blazed in glory long ago, but now are nothing but
ruins. He then mentioned church denominations that one time God worked
through, but now are “ruins”. Finally, he talked about people who have
become “ruins” because of the life they have chosen to live. But the
Good News is Jesus came to rebuild the ruins. To take an old life,
battered and scared by sin, and make something worthwhile out of it
again. He is the master craftsman and can see in an old worthless piece
of junk, not what it is, but what it can be with His touch. |
