Sunday Evening, Mar 16, 2008,

What a privilege it is to be in the presence of God! We spent this  entire evening sharing in song and praise in adoration to God our wonderful Father. We sang many songs expressing our love to God and the saints shared in testimony, witnessing to His great faithfulness. There was a sweet spirit of worship that permeated our inner most being and was expressed outwardly through both shouts of praise and tears of joy. It was a wonderful time of spiritual refreshing.

There are many prayer burdens that the saints are concerned about. This evening, we lifted up those burdens to the Lord as we agreed in special prayer together as one united body. We prayed for each other and for those loved ones who are facing difficulty, particularly this coming week. Some are facing hard decisions, others are very sick and even near unto death, and still others are  in desperate need of salvation. They are counting on us to pray for them. It is a privilege to have saints who you can depend on for prayer and have confidence that God hears and answers their prayers.

We received word just before the meeting this evening that Bro Dillow's aunt was saved today and we were certainly thankful for that. Prayer had been put in for her this morning during the meeting and God intervened. After our rest home service this afternoon, the Dillows went to be with her and the family and although we missed them in our midst, we realize that they were on an important mission of ministering to this aunt.

We ended the meeting with the chorus "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, There's just something about that name". It is a name above all names because there is power and authority brought about by the life of Christ and because of who He is.

Thank God for the beautiful meeting this evening! God knows just what we need and He is always faithful to supply our needs!
