Sunday Morning, March 28, 2010,
This morning, the saints met
together to comfort and encourage one another and to share precious
memories of our love and appreciation for Anna Coons who passed away
last Sunday Morning. We had a beautiful meeting with the sweet Spirit of
God flowing from heart to heart.
We started out with one of
Anna's favorite songs, Father I Adore You, which is sung in three part
harmony. We sang several congregational songs, including; At Calvary,
Hallelujah, Praise Jehovah, It Is Well With My Soul. Oh How He Loves You
And Me.
Sis Debbie led us in the
song "More Than Anything In My Life, I've Got To Make It." (Words Below)
We can truly say that we have even more of a determination to make it to
heaven now than ever before. There is more to go to heaven for. Sis
Janie, Sis Lori and
Sis Julie sang a beautiful song titled "Fear Not Tomorrow" by the
Collingsworth family. It was very encouraging and uplifting. We are
thankful that while we don't know about tomorrow, we do know who holds
our hand.
The saints gave tribute to
Anna and expressed their love for the Coons family. God has certainly
given added grace during this past week. Bro Joe read a poem about
Heavens Hall of Fame, and Sis Joanne read a beautiful poem that she had
recently written.
We will be adding a memorial
page to our website soon. We ended the meeting by singing What a Day
That Will Be.

MORE
THAN FAME, WEALTH, OR DESIRE
MORE THAN ALL THIS WORLD'S ATTIRE
MORE THAN ANYTHING IN MY LIFE I'VE GOT TO MAKE IT
TAKE MY POSSESSIONS, GRAND OR SMALL
FRIENDS OR FAMILY, IF YOU TAKE THEM ALL
MORE THAN ANYTHING IN MY LIFE I'VE GOT TO MAKE IT
CHORUS:
MORE
THAN ANYTHING IN MY LIFE I'VE GOT TO MAKE IT
I'VE GOT TO KNOW MY NAME'S INSCRIBED
IN THE LAMB'S GREAT BOOK OF LIFE
I WANT TO HEAR HIM SAY "WELL DONE!"
“ENTER IN MY CHILD, YOU'VE WON"
MORE THAN ANYTHING IN MY LIFE I'VE GOT TO MAKE IT
VERSE 2:
WHAT
GOOD IS ALL I'VE COME TO KNOW
IF I GAIN THIS WORLD BUT STILL LOSE MY SOUL
MORE THAN ANYTHING IN MY LIFE I'VE GOT TO MAKE IT
IF I CAN RUN AND KEEP THE PACE
THEN I'LL WILL SEE MY SAVIOR’S FACE
MORE THAN ANYTHING IN MY LIFE I'VE GOT TO MAKE IT
2nd
CHORUS:
I’VE GOT
TO BE THERE IN GOOD STANDING
WHEN I STAND BEFORE THE THRONE
WHEN THE BOOKS ARE OPENED AND
THE LAMB BEGINS TO TAKE ROLL CALL
I'VE GOT TO KNOW I’VE KEPT THE FAITH
STOOD EACH TRIAL RUN MY RACE
MORE THAN ANYTHING IN MY LIFE I'VE GOT TO MAKE IT
