Sunday Morning, December 13, 2009,

Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby - 1Peter 2:1-2

This morning, we hade a great discussion on 3 of the 5 evils that are listed in this first verse. Specifically, we talked about:

1. Malice - desire to inflict injury, harm, or suffering on another, either because of a hostile impulse or out of deep-seated meanness:

2. Guile - insidious cunning in attaining a goal; crafty or artful deception

3. Hypocrisy - a pretense of having a virtuous character, moral or religious beliefs or principles, etc., that one does not really possess.

Everyone was involved in the lesson and all were making contributions to the discussion. We got so involved in the lesson that we went way over the time that we normally dismiss!
