Sunday Morning, Feb 24, 2008, This morning the church was split..... but in a good way! Bro Dale. his family and some of the saints were in Washington Court House, Ohio and the other saints met at the Marriott for meeting. Bro Dale brought a message on the Lamb of God and the great sacrifice that was made at Calvary.
Sunday morning at the
Marriott, Bro Joe brought a lesson examining the "Favor of God". Psalm
30:5 says: "For His anger endureth but a moment; in His favor is
life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy is coming in the morning".
The word favor denotes: acceptance by the Lord, His delight in us, we
are His desire (the apple of His eye) and He has pleasure in us when we
practice our faith in Him. The Lord sets his affection on us when we
set our affection on Him. We have His approval when we are justified
and finally, we have been pardoned according to His mercy. |
