Getting to know who Jesus really is. This was the theme of the thoughts that Sis Joanne brought this morning at our gathering. During His time on earth, many people followed Jesus for the benefits that surrounded His presence, i.e., miracles, healings, food, etc.. But there were only a few people who recognized that He was the Lamb of God. There were only a few who understood what His purpose was. But thank God there were a few.

Today many people want the benefits of salvation, but they don't seem to want to pay the price to obtain it, nor to keep it. Jesus is not our "go-for", ... go for this and go for that. He is not magician, doing tricks to appease a crowd.

He is the Son of God and He died to have a relationship with man. He died that we may have peace. No Jesus, No Peace -- Know Jesus, Know Peace.
