This morning, the temperature dipped down to around 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Some of the saints were sick so we decided to call for a free day of ministry. What is a free day of ministry, one might ask?

A free day of ministry is when the saints individually decide what ministry or activity they might wish to be involved in. For instance, some of the saints gathered with other local assemblies this morning. Others worked on written Internet correspondence. Others made a much needed hospital visit, etc... While we love getting together, we also realize that sometimes God has different plans for us and we want to always be flexible enough to change our plans and do His bidding.

We have often said  that be being the church is much more than gathering together in a building week after week. It is more about getting out from inside the four walls and ministering to others in their time of need. 

For us, today was one such day.
