"Where your treasure is, there will your heart be."

Bro Joe took his text from Psalms 37 “delight thyself in the Lord…and he will give you the desires of your heart.”  He showed how this verse does not mean that God will satisfy every selfish desire we might have, but when we delight ourselves in Him, He will give us a new heart with new desires (Eze 36:26).  We will have desires that are pleasing to Him and He wants to fulfill those.  He will place them within us and then bring them about as a result of our prayers. 

We must work to keep our heart pure so these desires don’t become confused with selfish wants we might have.  Always keep the attitude – “Nevertheless, not my will but Thine be done.”

We were glad to have Sis Joanne, Josh and Sarah (Josh's cousin) with us in meeting. Sis Joanne still has that smile on her face!
