Sunday Morning, November 29, 2009,

"Suffering, Be Prepared" This was the theme of the lesson brought this morning by Sis Joanne.

When we suffer:

1. We are to rejoice, be glad with exceeding joy. Why? That Christ’ power and glory may be revealed to others.

2. We are the only Jesus some people will see!

3. Suffering comes to perfect us.

We were thankful to have three visitors who assembled with us this morning. Two are sisters from the local community and one brother was from Columbus. They seemed to really be encouraged in the Lord. One of the sisters is a substitute teacher who met Bro Joe and he extended an invitation to come and be with us. This was their second time that the two sisters met with us and we hope to see them again.
