Thursday Evening, November 1, 2007, Tonight there was much singing and rejoicing as we reflected on the message from last night and the wonderful plan our God has made for us to change us until we conform to the measure of Christ. There was over 40 in attendence.
He’s changing me, my blessed Jesus. This song, sung by our revival choir, fit right along with Bro Haber’s message. He spoke on King David and how He took Jonathan’s son, Mephibosheth, and raised him up to sit at the king’s table (II Sam9). Clearly this is a picture of what God has done for us. Life had left us lame and crippled in sin like Mephibosheth, but God, wanting to show us kindness, invited us to His house, and placed us at His banqueting table where we could sup with Him (Rev 3:20). We are now part of His family. Praise be to God. Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive glory, honor, and blessing for…He has redeemed us back to God and we are now Kings and Priests (Rev. 5:9-10). |
